Insulation Screen (Test 1)

This has a programmed field around the slideshow to turn the screen off when the user mouses away. It is supposed to stop the display from showing the wrong date when a user engages in outside actions. It looks like my b variable holds its value in spite of these actions and the user will receive a correct date for my video as long as she clicks on my buttons.

Guys, that location object is constantly eluding me here. I had to state its location all the way down to the .html on this page or it would 'jump'. I'm checking my other blog now.

Video Slideshow with Plastic Frame

And that looks pretty good to me. Does it look all right to you folks? Seems to function reasonably well. And you can see its stages of development in the preceding four posts of this blog. Fun stuff, eh? I've been sharing posts like this since my training in 2000, which I mention in my poem, the Age of the Image.

Music Slideshow with Dates and Buttons

So here we are again with my slideshow program on Blogger. Thanks to lying broadcasters, that evil prick who stole my HTML is probably giving computer science lectures at UBC by now. He's probably been able to get married and have children while I get called a childless weirdo and have to build what he stole from me all from scratch a second time. That's why I don't watch TV anymore.

Maybe some people need bullshit to make the world acceptable to them. Ironically, it's the bullshit they think they love, especially when it has corporate support, that makes a good life so impossible here in the first place.

Music Slideshow with Corresponding Dates

Step Back One Step Forward One
Music Shared on: Wednesday, February 10, 2016

4:25 pm: This worked at home and I'm going to test it here at the library now.

4:29 pm: I see that I can change the source of my iframe but I can't change the inner html of my date holder. This is some sort of limit that has been placed on HTML authors at this site. That's all right. I'll work within their environment and do without my dates.

6:14 pm: Yes, I got that innerHTML function working. Once again, it was my error. I misspelled my variable. These are the little things that get worked out as you develop a program. But I'm sorry for being so quick to blame Blogger. I guess I'm still not over that frameset.

6:37 pm: Don't panic if you came here and got a message saying my page does not exist. I changed the title of it and I have a new program to keep it anchored on Blogger. (Mar 30: First twenty-four hours it was anchored to the last page location by mistake.) When my program tested your URL and read the new title, it couldn't find the page. It was my own code doing that! I've now changed it to go with my new title.

2015 Video Slideshow

IFRAME SOURCE SHUFFLER
Step Back One Step Forward One

March 28, 2016: Hey, man, it's not my fault I capitalized the 'D' in 'ID' in that programming method last night. That's the way it was spelled on the search engine. So whomever typed that passed their error down to me. I see that it works well and I am pleased to have a way to present my music, at least, on one page. You'll see this program hopefully develop as I add more to it in following posts.
